I started DinnerByDar 10 years ago in Sherman. My goal was to make fresh hot meals and deliver them to local people who didn't have time to go get lunch and still have time to eat it. I ended up with clients who needed meals prepared for elderly parents as well as people who wanted weekly meals prepared and frozen that were nutritious and fit special needs diets. My meals became popular with the staff and I was asked to come to work as the Executive Chef and Dietary Manager of what is now Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital. I accepted the position and so for the past 6 years i have been creating the meals that would have been served to you as a patient there. You don't often hear hospital patients ask for their food "to go" like we did. After 6 years of being asked for my recipes and told I should open my own restaurant I decided it was time to bring DinnerByDar back to the public. Thank you for supporting us all these years.
